Caddo is seeing incredible gains in middle school math performance, and getting so national attention for it! Caddo was recently selected by Chiefs for Change to highlight the district’s efforts over the past 3 years to improve middle school math proficiency. Increasing time while providing extensive support to district classrooms, Caddo has seen a 9-percent increase in student achievement. Caddo Superintendent Dr. Lamar Goree was invited to speak on Capitol Hill with members of Congress and their staffs about how these gains became a reality.
Chiefs for Change is a nationally recognized bipartisan organization that advocates for K-12 education with policy makers to make sure students and teachers have what they need for success.

We are proud of our 15 students who have earned the title of National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist. Congratulations on receiving this prestigious honor!
The nationwide pool of semifinalists represents less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors. All semifinalists qualified during their junior year by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). They'll now move on to compete for 7,140 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $28 million. #wearecaddo #theyarecaddo #BIGdreamsstarthere
