As we close out Black History Month, we are proud of the meaningful celebrations that have taken place across our district.

At Midway Elementary this week, students brought history to life by researching and representing local and national Black leaders who have shaped our community, our state, and our nation. From trailblazers in education, government, science, and the arts to influential leaders right here in Caddo Parish, our students honored the legacy of those who paved the way.

Thank you to our students, teachers, and families who helped make this month one of to remember.
