At Midway Elementary this week, students brought history to life by researching and representing local and national Black leaders who have shaped our community, our state, and our nation. From trailblazers in education, government, science, and the arts to influential leaders right here in Caddo Parish, our students honored the legacy of those who paved the way.
Thank you to our students, teachers, and families who helped make this month one of to remember.

Happy National School Resource Officer Day!
Our School Resource Officers and School Liaison Officers do far more than wear a badge. They build relationships, mentor students, support staff, and help create safe, welcoming learning environments on every campus. They are trusted adults, positive role models, and steady presences in moments both big and small.
We are grateful for their partnership, their professionalism, and their commitment to protecting what matters most: our students and staff.
To our SROs and SLOs, thank you for keeping Caddo safe and strong.

Bryce was named 8th in the Nation at this year’s YETI Climb National Championships, competing against the very best youth climbers in the country.
